Renee + Matt: An Apple Orchard Fairy Tale Hyland Orchard, Sturbridge MA

Renee and Matt came to me by chance and I think it was a match made in heaven. They came to me in July with their wedding in September... a quick turn around. But I was available and was up for a challenge, but there was none. Renee and Matt already had a very well thought out concept and I was there to just put the icing on the cake, I'm calling it Apple Orchard Chic....

Lace, neutral tones, an open-sided barn, craft beer, a bonfire and of course the perfect flowers.

Guys were sharp

The ceremony was perfect. We decorated an existing arbor with organza and some flowers and textures. Just look at that view!

Renee and Matt were envisioning some escort cards made of Apples. I think I've seen it on Pinterest a couple of times. So I gave it a whirl, and I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out!

I always recommend that couples choose more than one centerpiece. Renee had a vision of candles and we alternated that with flowers. I think it really is a nice surprise for guests and gives them a reason to get up and look around.

Honestly I just can't say enough about Renee and Matt. They were so warm and genuine. You can see their happiness radiate from the photos. As I stayed to pin boutonnieres, and found who belonged to which flowers, their family was so welcoming and helpful. Following me to the different loved ones, helping guests get drinks etc. You know that feeling when someone whose just met you, looks you in the eye and uses your name? Yeah, that...
